What we collect

When you request a rental, we collect your name, phone number, email, delivery and pickup addresses, requested dates, equipment choices, referral code, and agreement to our usage and replacement policy. Partner inquiries include your name, phone number, and employer or business.

How we use it

We use these details to review availability, contact you, coordinate your rental, calculate pricing, and understand which referral offers bring us requests. We save requests and our review decisions in our website’s hosted database. Access to customer records is restricted to our authorized business account. Our hosting providers process information needed to run and protect the website.

Website visitor counts

We use first-party analytics to count browser visits, page views and broad traffic sources such as Google, Facebook and Instagram. A temporary random identifier in your browser's session storage helps group page views; it renews after 30 minutes without a page load or when the calendar day changes. We store a daily hash of that identifier with a fixed page name and source category in our own website database. These records are separate from rental requests.

Analytics does not record names, email addresses, form entries, IP addresses or full page/referrer URLs. The report covers the last 90 days; older analytics is removed during routine website activity. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Counts can be incomplete when tracking is blocked. Our hosting and security systems may separately process information needed to operate and protect the website.

Follow-up and payment

We follow up personally. Submitting a request does not subscribe you to a marketing email list. The reservation form does not collect payment-card details or charge a card. After approval, when Stripe payments are connected, we provide a private payment link. Stripe processes the payment and stores card details. Our website keeps payment references, status, limited card information such as brand and last four digits, and a record of your saved-card authorization. We use the saved payment method only for the rental-related charges you authorize. It is removed from future use by Tote-ally Boxless when the rental is closed and settled; transaction and authorization records may be retained. Read our card authorization and payment terms.
